Karim Rassas, MD

Dr. Karim Rassas is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who believes great primary care starts with taking the time to truly know his patients - not just their medical conditions. He enjoys building lasting relationships with his patients and helping them stay healthy, active, and independent through every stage of life.

Dr. Rassas completed his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain and his Family Medicine residency at Texoma Medical Center. His clinical experience spans both primary care and urgent care, giving him a broad background in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute illness, and office-based procedures such as joint injections.

His approach to medicine emphasizes prevention, patient education, and shared decision-making. He believes in taking the time to listen to his patients, understand their individual goals, and work together to develop a care plan that supports their health, independence, and quality of life.

Dr. Rassas speaks Spanish and Arabic and enjoys caring for patients from diverse backgrounds. Having grown up in the Tampa Bay area, he is excited to return home and serve the community that helped shape him. He looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
